The terms of booking and booking cancellation

Services or equipment can be booked in person or by phone, in written form or on the electronic booking system.

Accommodation

Check-in for cottages starts at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 PM

For caravans and tents, check-in begins at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 2:00 PM. Reserved cottages will be held until 6:00 PM unless a later arrival time has been agreed upon. Prepaid reservations remain valid without notification. If you are arriving outside the opening hours, please let us know in advance.

Accommodation and Cottage Cleaning

The accommodation price includes the right to use the cottage, and the equipment provided in it.
Guests are required to use bed linen, sleeping bags, or similar in cottages. Linen can be rented when booking or from reception for an additional fee.

For camping cottages (without WC or shower) normal final cleaning is included in the price However, guests are expected to empty the fridge, wash dishes (or return the dish basket to the reception/restaurant), take trash to the waste point, and remove any bottles or cans brought along. If you have rented linen, leave it folded on the bed.

Final cleaning for holiday cottages costs €50

If the guest performs the final cleaning themselves, it must include: returning furniture and items to their original places, washing dishes, wiping tables, sweeping/vacuuming floors, and removing bottles and trash. Also, empty the fridge and take all the food items with you or to the waste point. If you rented linen, leave it folded on the bed.

It is also possible to order an intermediate cleaning, which costs the same as final cleaning. Cleaning services can be purchased when making the reservation.

We reserve the right to charge guests afterward if the cleaning has not been done or if the cottage requires extra cleaning or special cleaning products.

Booking Interruption Related to Disruptive Behavior

If a guest violates campsite rules or the instructions of the staff and continues causing disturbance or danger in the accommodation or surroundings despite warnings, the campsite has the right to terminate the reservation immediately. All actual costs incurred due to the above will be invoiced from the guest.

Damages, Defects and Complaints

Number of Persons

The maximum allowed number of people in an accommodation unit is the number of beds and extra beds. The number of people must be declared on the passenger card at check-in and may not be exceeded.

In winter, the person making the reservation and at least one of the guests must be at least 22 years old. Ages of guests may be checked at any time. If no one meets the age requirement, the booking can be cancelled without a refund.

Passenger Card

According to accommodation law, each guest must complete a passenger card before staying. Guests can fill in and print the electronic card in advance to speed up check-in. The form must be completed at the latest at check-in. Failure to provide information or giving false information may result in penalties under the Criminal Code.

Minors and Young Guests

Minors are welcome to stay.
Each minor must have a signed permission note from a guardian or have it sent by email in advance. The note must include the guardian’s phone number.
All guests in the cottage are jointly responsible for intentional damage or theft. Any vandalism will be reported to the guardians and, if necessary, to the police.

In winter, the person making the reservation and at least one of the guests must be 22 years old. Guest ages may be verified at any time. If the age requirement is not met, the reservation may be cancelled without a refund.

Pets

Pets are welcome in cottage but must always be reported in advance. Please bring a bed for your pet – pets are not allowed on beds or sofas. In camping cottages an additional €10 fee applies per stay, in holiday cottages €10/night (max €30). Pet illness is not a valid reason for cancellation.

Smoking

All indoor areas are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed only outside the accommodation and on the restaurant terrace. A cleaning and ventilation fee may be charged for unauthorized indoor smoking.

Cancellation

If you are unable to arrive, cancel your reservation immediately by phone or email to Yyteri Camping. Refer to the booking and cancellation policy at the end of this section.

When and how can I cancel my reservation?

If you are unable to arrive, please cancel your reservation immediately by calling or emailing yyteri@suomicamping.fi.

If the reservation has already been paid, you can request a refund via info@suomicamping.fi.


Always remember to include your name, reservation number, destination, and booking dates.

When issuing refunds, an office fee of €15–€50 will always be deducted depending on the value of the booking.

Reservations made through other platforms (e.g., Booking.com) must be cancelled directly on their websites. These bookings may have different cancellation terms that you accepted during booking – please check them carefully before attempting to cancel.

Can I bring pets to the area?

Pets are warmly welcome if kept on a leash. Please collect and dispose of waste in general waste bins. For cottage, please inform us in advance, if you are travelling with a pet. In your own caravan or tent, pets are allowed without prior notice or additional fee.

Bring a bed for your pet, as pets are not allowed to be on beds or sofas.

A pet fee of €10/stay (camping cottages) or €10/night (holiday cottages, max €30) applies. The fee does not cover any damage or extra laundry costs caused by pets.

Pet illness is not a valid reason for cancellation.

Is it possible to check in before 4 PM?

Check-in for cottages is at 4 PM. Check-out from previous guests is at 12 PM. If the cottage is cleaned earlier, it may be handed over before the official check-in time.

Can there be more people in the cottage than there are beds?

Can I book a specific cottage number?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee reservations by cottage number. You may request a specific cottage, and we will note it as a preference, but we cannot always fulfill the request.

Is it okay to use my own grill on the terrace of the cottage?

Grilling and open fire are not allowed outside designated campfire sites. There are several campfire areas on-site where fires are allowed, depending on fire bans.

Do I need to reserve a place for my camper or tent in advance?

We recommend booking in advance during the summer season. The easiest way is to do it online (live availability).

Is there a restaurant in the area and is breakfast included in the price?

Our summer Restaurant Ulappa is open during the summer season. Check the opening hours, menu and prices can be found on the Services page.

Breakfast is not included in the accommodation price, but during the summer season, breakfast can be purchased at the restaurant for 14,50€ or in advance for 13.50. Breakfast price for children is always 6€ (4-11 years).

Is there public transport to Yyteri and easy access to the city center?

You can easily reach us by bus from the center of Pori and vice versa.

Bus number 34 drives to Yyteri daily about once an hour, from morning until midnight.
